The JYZS-10 Oxygen Index Tester is a standard desktop laboratory instrument engineered to ISO 4589 and GB/T 2406 series standards. It precisely measures the Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI), the minimum oxygen percentage required to sustain stable vertical combustion of solid specimens inside a transparent glass chimney with blended oxygen-nitrogen airflow.
By calculating LOI values, manufacturers and labs evaluate flame retardancy and fire classification of raw materials for incoming quality control, third-party fire certification, and new flame retardant material R&D.
