NH-016 Cable Fire Resistance Tester is an integrated lab test equipment designed for fire resistance, water spray and hammer impact tests of wires and cables. It strictly complies with IEC 60331 series, GB/T 19216 series and BS 6387:2013 standards, used to evaluate the circuit integrity of power cables, data cables and optical fiber cables under flame temperature up to 830℃ and above.
The unit adopts a large 3m cubic insulated combustion chamber, intelligent touch screen automatic control system, high-precision gas flow regulation and 5-channel independent electrical load system. Equipped with dual standard propane burners and complete stainless steel cable fixing fixtures, it supports full-automatic test operation, real-time temperature monitoring and multi-protection alarm functions. Widely adopted by cable manufacturers, third-party fire testing laboratories, fire inspection institutions and material research centers for cable fire safety certification and quality inspection.

    5. Installation Position Standard

    • Horizontal distance between burner axis and cable center: 40–60mm
    • Vertical distance between burner axis and cable axis: 100–120mm

    Working Principle

    Install the tested cable sample on the stainless steel ladder and fix it with adjustable metal rings. Set target flame temperature, burning duration and test voltage/current on the touch screen. The system completes automatic ignition, precise gas mixing and constant temperature flame output.
     
    The 5-channel load system continuously supplies rated voltage and current to the cable during combustion. K-type thermocouples track real-time flame temperature; the system automatically alarms and cuts off gas & flame once cable short-circuit occurs. After preset burning time, the machine stops heating automatically. Operators judge whether the cable maintains circuit integrity to confirm its fire resistance grade.
